BIG ISSUE SERIES II

I caught this guy while walking along Kings Road. He stood in front of Barclay's Bank. He makes my number 2 of my current series of BIG ISSUE sellers. He was very vocal, had a charm about him, he was also very approachable. He said his name is Steve and allowed me to sketch him. He made three sales while I was sketching him and he was a delight to sketch and allowed photography after the sketch.

Great sketch and story! Would you explain what the connection is of "The Big Issue" and these homeless selling them? Thank you.

Thanks Victoria, To the best of my knowledge, Big Issue is a magazine that is only sold weekly through the salemanship of homelesss people. For every copy they sell they get a certain amount. It kind of provides a job for them.

Thanks Vern!

I just wanted to tell you that you're doing a great job, and in addition you're blessing these homeless people. Whatever you sow, you're going to reap in multiple folds. Have a fantastic weekend :)
