The Engineer, 16" x 16", Sanguine/Sepia dust and coloured pencils, 2009

This is dad completed and verified his wife and son have been previously posted. I'm just putting finishing touches to the double which would have him and his wife.

This was done with sepia and sanguine dust with the actual drawing and detailing in brown/red family coloured pencils.

I always love stopping by to see your daily skethes. This portrait is so refined, so three dimensional, and you've captured a wonderful, thoughtful expression on his face. Outstanding!

That's a very handsome man :). You capture the sides of his face very well, and as always, your shadowing is incredible. The only, very very VERY minor thing is the shadowing on the lower left side of his face kinda obscures a few of the details, but it's okay :). Another one for the books!
